Just the Basics

Flights must come into Newark, NJ (airport code: EWR)
Transfers are $28.50 pp each way ($57 round-trip)

Option #1

Book Royal Caribbean’s airfare

Choice Air:
If you'd like to choose your routing schedule, you can choose to book "Choice Air". These rates are subject to change until paid in full. Transfers are not included in the price but can be added. In most cases, flights are non-refundable and no changes can be made once booked. Flights are customizable and you can choose to book Coach, First Class or Business Class.

To book your own Choice Air reservation, go to www.ChoiceAir.com Check rates as often as you'd like and then when you are ready...go ahead and book. You will need your reservation number, Ship name (Explorer of the Seas) and sailing date (07OCT2012) in order to book. Full payment is due at the time of booking. Once booked, Cruise & Crop will receive notification and we'll send you an updated confirmation.

Option #2

Book your own air and arrive on 10/6/12.
Book the pre-cruise hotel & transfers through Royal Caribbean.

Call Cruise & Crop for current rates on 1-night pre-hotel options through Royal Caribbean. These rates would also include your transfer to the pier (but you’d have to get your own transfer from the airport to the hotel the night before). Hotel stays must be booked before July 13, 2012. After this deadline, hotel packages may not be available.

You’d also need to purchase a one-way transfer from the pier to the airport for after the cruise.  This is $28.50 pp.

Hotel rates vary based on how many people are in the hotel room.

Option #3

Book your own air and arrive on 10/7/12.
Book Royal Caribbean Transfers

If you book your own flights, flights must arrive at the Newark airport no later than 12:00 p.m. on 10/7/12 and leave no earlier than 1:00 p.m. on 10/14/12.  Round-trip transfers can be purchased for $57 pp.

NOTE:  You CANNOT book your own air & hotel (to arrive on 10/6/12) and still purchase Royal Caribbean transfers.  If you do everything on your own, you’ll have to find your own transportation to and from the pier. The airport is approx. 20 minutes from the pier. Visit http://www.cruiseliberty.com/ for a list of Shuttles, Taxies and Rental companies. Cruise & Crop does not operate or control in any respect the services provided by these companies, nor does it guarantee their performance.

Option #4

Drive to the Pier

Parking Fees: $19/day for vehicles up to 20 feet in length
The total fee for the time the vehicle will be parked is due on entry. They accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Traveler’s Checks issued in U.S. dollars.

Directions to the pier: http://www.cruiseliberty.com/dirpark.htm

Please Note: The flights and hotels offered by Royal Caribbean can sell out. Do not delay in booking this portion of your trip. Call Cruise & Crop/CruiseOne to arrange these details.

Once you've got a passport in hand, the whole world is yours to explore. Cruise & Crop/CruiseOne highly recommends traveling with a passport!

AIR TRAVEL - U.S. Citizens

What you'll need...Scrapbooking Packing List

For the open crops, please bring your own paper/photos/accessories/tools that you'll need to complete your own pages.  Please also bring your own supply of wet-wipes to get the glue/ink off of your hands and workspace.

**Lighting**
Please be advised that the lighting is a little dim in the crop room.  You may want to think about bringing a lamp (such as a OTT-LITE® TrueColorTM Battery Powered Task Lamp).  We recommend bringing a battery operated lamp as there are limited outlets in the crop rooms.  If your lamp does need to be plugged in, please bring extension cords and a power strip.  I do not personally own one of these lamps so I am not endorsing it - I simply know that many crafters really like them.
