Choice Air:
If you'd like to choose your routing schedule, you can choose to book "Choice Air". These rates are subject to change until paid in full. Transfers are not included in the price but can be added. In most cases, flights are non-refundable and no changes can be made once booked. Flights are customizable and you can choose to book Coach, First Class or Business Class.

To book your own Choice Air reservation, go to www.ChoiceAir.com Check rates as often as you'd like and then when you are ready...go ahead and book. You will need your reservation number, Ship name (Anthem of the Seas) and sailing date (23FEB2019) in order to book. Full payment is due at the time of booking. Once booked, Cruise & Crop will receive notification and we'll send you an updated confirmation.

Book the pre-cruise hotel & transfers through Royal Caribbean.

Call Cruise & Crop for current rates on 1, 2 or 3-night pre-hotel options through Royal Caribbean. These rates would also include your transfer to the pier (but you’d have to get your own transfer from the airport to the hotel the night before). Hotel stays must be booked before November 15, 2018. After this deadline, hotel packages may not be available.

As of 6/1/18, the following options were available for a 1-night pre-cruise stay:

  • NEWARK - Doubletree by Hilton EWR airport $142.55 pp
  • NEWARD - Hilton EWR Penn Station $141.96 pp
  • NEW YORK - Le Parker Meridien NYC $321.85 pp
  • NEW YORK - Westin New York Times Square $298.48 pp

You’d also need to purchase a one-way transfer from the pier to the airport for after the cruise.  This is $28.50 pp.

Hotel rates vary based on how many people are in the room. Rates are subject to change. {Post Cruise packages are also available}

Book Royal Caribbean Transfers

If you book your own flights, flights must arrive at the Newark airport no later than 11:00 a.m. on 2/23/19 and leave no earlier than 12:00 p.m. on 3/3/19.  Round-trip transfers can be purchased for $57 pp.

Time Square Pick-up - If you are coming in early to spend time in New York City, you can meet RCL's motorcoach in the Times Square area and catch a ride to the ship on 2/23/19. Meet Royal Caribbean's cruise line rep at Schwartz Luggage Storage NYC no later than 10:45 a.m. The bus leaves at 11:00 a.m. The cost for this transfer is $45 pp. Call Cruise & Crop to add this transfer. Time Square Drop-off - Post-Cruise drop off to this same location is also available. Call for details.

NOTE:  You CANNOT book your own air & hotel (to arrive on 2/22/19) and still purchase Royal Caribbean transfers.  If you do everything on your own, you’ll have to find your own transportation to the pier.  The Newark airport is approx. 20 minutes from the pier. Taxis serve the cruise terminal during ship calls and public transportation is easily accessible. A taxi ride is about $18 plus tolls/tip. Click here for Ground Transportation information. A safe, secured parking facility, operated by Central Parking, is conveniently located adjacent to the cruise terminal. Parking fees are $19 per day including state and local sales tax. Cash, travelers cheques and major credit cards are accepted. No reservations are necessary.

Shore excursions are available to be booked. You can go to Royal Caribbean's Website and click "Before you Board". Excursions can be reserved online up to 4 days before your sail date. Crafting activities will not interfere with your days in port - so feel free to go and explore at each stop.

The schedule is subject to change. All classes/crops will take place on deck 13, aft. You will walk down a hallway of cabins before you find the conference center. The conference center has breathtaking views off the back of the ship.

The crop room will be open 24/7 for your crafting pleasure. Here are a few key dates/times to note:

  • Proof of Citizenship
    • Option #1: *RECOMMENDED* Passport (valid at least 6 months after you return) & a drivers license
    • Option #2: A CERTIFIED birth certificate with a raised seal + a government issued photo ID such as a drivers license {plus, a bridging document if the name on your drivers license and birth certificate do not match - such as a marriage license}
    • Non US Citizens are required to have a passport.
  • e-Docs & Set Sail Pass, luggage tags, Transfer/Hotel Vouchers
  • Shore Excursion Tickets (if you booked your excursions through Dream Vacations/Shore Excursions Group)
  • Casual clothes for during the day - dress in layers as the temperatures can change through out the day and will vary from port to port.
  • 2 Semi-Formal, 2 Smart Casual & 4 Casual outfits for dinner
  • A light jacket in case the crop room is chilly
  • Work-out clothes
  • Bathing suit, cover up & sunscreen
  • Camera & extra batteries
  • Pajamas
  • Toiletries (hair-dryer, soap and shampoo are provided)
  • Tennis shoes & flip-flops
  • Lighted alarm clock (or you can use the Wake-up call system)
  • Power strip (so you have extra outlets in your room)
  • Royal Caribbean allows you to bring 2 bottles of wine (750 mL) per stateroom onboard on embarkation day; subject to corkage fees. These must be CARRIED on! If you put them in your checked luggage, they will be confiscated. Water, Soda, Beer and liquor are prohibited.

For the Open Cropping times, please bring your own paper/photos/accessories/tools that you'll need to complete your own cards/pages.  Please also bring your own supply of wet-wipes to clean your hands and your workspace. 

**Be sure to pack all sharp objects in your CHECKED Luggage, all together in a plastic bag**

The following supplies are suggested for your classes.

  • Scissors (blades must be less than 4 inches long)
  • 12" Personal Trimmer
  • Black Ink
  • Tons of your favorite adhesives - various types - wet & dry
  • Foam Pop dots
  • Glue dots - in several sizes
  • Bone Folder or something to score with
  • Wet-wipes to clean your hands and table
  • Optional: Battery powered crafting light + extension cord/power strip (if light is not battery powered)

There will not be a store on-board so be sure to bring enough cardstock, adhesives and embellishments.
