In most cases, flights are non-refundable and no changes can be made once booked. Flights are customizable and you can choose to book Coach, First Class or Business Class.

To book your own Choice Air reservation, go to www.ChoiceAir.com Check rates as often as you'd like and then when you are ready...go ahead and book. You will need your reservation number, Ship name (Rhapsody of the Seas) and sailing date (09FEB2019) in order to book. Full payment is due at the time of booking. Once booked, Cruise & Crop will receive notification and we'll send you an updated confirmation.

Book your own air and arrive on 2/8/19.
Book the pre-cruise hotel & transfers through Royal Caribbean.

Call Cruise & Crop for current rates on 1, 2 or 3-night pre-hotel options through Royal Caribbean. These rates would also include your transfer to the pier (but you’d have to get your own transfer from the airport to the hotel the night before). Hotel stays must be booked before November 1, 2018. After this deadline, hotel packages may not be available.

As of 5/10/18, the following hotels are available through RCL for a 1-night pre-cruise stay:

  • Courtyard Downtown Tampa $152.92 pp
    • 15 minutes from TPA airport, near museums and the pier
  • Westshore Grand $143.59 pp
    • 3 miles from TPA airport, within walking distance to the Westshore Mall

You’d also need to purchase a one-way transfer from the pier to the airport for after the cruise.  This is $21.50 per person.

Hotel rates vary based on how many people are in the room. Rates are subject to change. {Post Cruise packages are also available}

Book your own air and arrive on 2/8/19.
Book Royal Caribbean Transfers

If you book your own flights, flights must arrive at the Tampa airport no later than 12:00 p.m. on 2/9/19 and leave no earlier than 12:00 p.m. on 2/16/19.  Round-trip transfers can be purchased for $43 pp. The deadline to purchase transfer is 1/24/19.

NOTE:  You CANNOT book your own air & hotel (to arrive on 1/30/19) and still purchase Royal Caribbean transfers.  If you do everything on your own, you’ll have to find your own transportation to the pier. Tampa International Airport is about 14 miles (30 minutes) away from the pier. CLASSES: There are 2 classes on each open sea day - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We would like to keep each class to under 24 people so we need to divide our crafters into two different groups.

The first morning class will run from 9:00a - 10:30p and second morning class will run from 11:00a to 12:30p. They are both the same class.

The afternoon classes run 1:30p - 3:00p and 3:30p - 5:00p

We will keep you and your friends in the same class based on your reservation.

If you and your friends are staying in different cabins and would like to be in the same class, please let Cruise & Crop know and Lisa will work on the schedule.  We are doing our best to make everyone happy.

MAKE N TAKES: We will have 4 Make n Take projects available from 9:00a -11:00a. You can stop by and work on your project any time between 9:00a to 11:00a. You will usually only need 10 minutes to complete each project. If you can’t make it to the Make n Take we will “Make” it and you can “Take” it. We will keep it for you.

We will have a crafters list on the table each day.  Please mark your name when you check in so we can count how many “Take” projects we have to “Make”.

OPEN CROP: We do have a room reserved for our classes, and it is open most of the time. If you wish to bring some of your own projects on board, there is space that you can use. Please only bring the tools and materials that you need for your own projects. For Local King on board activities all materials and tools are included. Please do not leave your items unattended. We are not responsible for all your goodies.

CARD SWAP: We will have card swap.  Please let Lisa know if you wish to participate in the swap.  The cut off day to sign up for the swap will be Jan 10th.  Lisa will keep you updated on how many cards you will have to make a.s.a.p. and any changing numbers.

The Swap project can be a card or 6” X 6” scrapbooking page, no envelop needed. Please do label your name, state/province, country and e-mail address on the back of your projects.

Local King Stamping cruise is all about having fun, relaxing, learning something new and making friends from different places.

We will collect all of the swap projects in the first class and I will provide a Ziploc bag and have all the exchanged cards back to you in the afternoon class.

Please do finish your swap projects at home and “NOT ONBOARD”, thank you.

GIFT: Every crafter will receive a box of 60 color marker set ($69.99) or a $69.99 shopping credit. Please e-mail Lisa indicating which one you would like, so we know how many boxes of markers we should bring.

NEW IMAGES: We are using some of Local King’s 2019 brand new images for our classes. You are going to be the first ones to try our new designs.
