Just the Basics

Flights must come into either Houston Hobby (airport code:HOU) or George Bush Intercontinental (airport code: IAH)
Transfers are $38.50 pp each way ($77 round-trip) from HOU and $46 pp each way ($92 round-trip) from IAH

Option #1

Book Royal Caribbean’s airfare

Choice Air:
If you'd like to choose your routing schedule, you can choose to book "Choice Air". These rates are subject to change until paid in full. Transfers are not included in the price but can be added. In most cases, flights are non-refundable and no changes can be made once booked. Flights are customizable and you can choose to book Coach, First Class or Business Class.

To book your own Choice Air reservation, go to www.ChoiceAir.com Check rates as often as you'd like and then when you are ready...go ahead and book. You will need your reservation number, Ship name (Mariner of the Seas) and sailing date (04MAR2012) in order to book. Full payment is due at the time of booking. Once booked, Cruise & Crop will receive notification and we'll send you an updated confirmation.

Option #2

Book your own air and arrive on 3/3/12.
Book the pre-cruise hotel & transfers through Royal Caribbean.

Call Cruise & Crop for current rates on 1-night pre-hotel options through Royal Caribbean. These rates would also include your transfer to the pier (but you’d have to get your own transfer from the airport to the hotel the night before). Hotel stays must be booked before December 9, 2011. After this deadline, hotel packages may not be available.

You’d also need to purchase a one-way transfer from the pier to the airport for after the cruise.  This is $38.50 pp to HOU or $46 pp to IAH.

Hotel currently being offered through Royal Caribbean:
1. Tremont House $143.48 pp

Hotel rates vary based on how many people are in the room. Rate quoted above is based on double occupancy. Rates are subject to change and are based on availability.

Option #3

Book your own air and arrive on 3/4/12.
Book Royal Caribbean Transfers

If you book your own flights, flights must arrive at the Houston airport no later than 12:30 p.m. on 3/4/12 and leave no earlier than 12:00 p.m. on 3/11/12.  Flights must arrive at the George Bush International airport no later than 11:30 a.m. on 3/4/12 and leave no earlier than 12:30 p.m. on 3/11/12. Round-trip transfers can be purchased for $77 HOU or $92 IAH per person.

NOTE:  You CANNOT book your own air & hotel (to arrive on 3/3/12) and still purchase Royal Caribbean transfers.  If you do everything on your own, you’ll have to find your own transportation to and from the pier.  Houston Hobby airport is approx. 45 minutes from the pier. Intercontinental Airport is approx. 1.5 hours from the pier. Visit http://www.portofgalveston.com/index.aspx for a list of Shuttles, Taxies and Rental companies. Cruise & Crop does not operate or control in any respect the services provided by these companies, nor does it guarantee their performance.

Option #4

Drive to the Pier

Parking Fees: $70 for vehicles up to 20 feet in length
The total fee for the time the vehicle will be parked is due on entry. They accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Traveler’s Checks issued in U.S. dollars. Pre-pay and save $5 on parking. Visit this link to reserve your parking spot.

Hello Fellow Sew and Quilt Cruisers,

My name is Jennifer Trumble; most of you have probably talked to my husband Jeremiah. I am trying to help tie up loose ends for him and make sure we have everything we need. This email will tell you what you will need to bring or have us bring. There are four choices or kits to choose from.

The last thing I need to tell you is if you are bringing your own machine you will need to make sure to bring the machine accessories that are listed.  If you are renting a machine from the Sew & Quilt Stores, all machine accessories will be provided.  Please let me know which kit you will be purchasing soon so that I will be able to have the supplies for you.  You don't have to pay for the the kit until you are ready. To purchase a kit, you may call and pay over the phone or you may pay when we meet on the ship.  However, we will not have access to a credit card machine on board.  If you would like to pay by credit card, please call the store by February 29th.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call or e-mail.  My e-mail is jensewlovin@yahoo.com and the number for the store is 254-616-2200.  Jeremiah or I will be happy to help in any way we can.
