Book Scenic Transfers

Scenic will provide complimentary, day-of transfers if you book your own air. It is important that you communicate, in the Cruise Personalizer, what your flight schedule is so that they can pick you up at the airport in Budapest and get you back to Munich after the cruise.

Flights must arrive into Budapest by 5:00 p.m. on October 5, 2026.

Flights must depart after 12:00 p.m. from Munich on October 12, 2026.

If you book flights to arrive early and/or depart later, Cruise & Crop can assist with booking independent transters.

SHORE EXCURSIONS
Shore excursions are included with your cruise package. You are able to pre-select your excursion options under Scenic's Cruise Personalizer. If you chance your mind onboard, you can switch excursions.

Journaling schedule
Save the date - Join us for a video meet-up September 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. EST to chat about supplies and our meet-ups. We can't wait to meet you!

We will be getting together at least twice while onboard. Once we learn of a few "sailing" times, we'll communicate this with the group.

Outside of our official meet-ups, you may find us in the lounge working on our own journals and you are always welcome to join in. We would also love to be hang out while on excursions and for meals.

travel insurance
If you have not already purchased travel insurance, we recommend that you do. Insurance covers you in case you had to cancel due to a medical reason or death in the family. It also covers your baggage, emergency evacuation and more.

  • Proof of Citizenship
    • Passport (valid at least 6 months after you return) & a drivers license
    • European ETIAS for US Citizens: if the program has started. As of 4/2026, estimated roll-out time is October 2026. We'll provide more info as available.
    • ETA for the UK if flying through or visiting the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland)
  • Final Documents (will be sent 2-4 weeks prior to sailing)
  • Outlet adapter/converter (if staying in Europe before/after your cruise, also helpful onboard to give you an extra plug)
  • Casual clothes for during the day - dress in layers as the temperatures can change through out the day and will vary from port to port.
  • Smart Casual dinner outfits & Casual outfits for the daytime
  • Work-out clothes
  • Bathing suit, cover up & sunscreen
  • Charging cables (for phones, laptops, tablets, etc)
  • Camera & extra batteries
  • Pajamas
  • Toiletries (hair-dryer, soap and shampoo are provided)
  • Tennis shoes & flip-flops

  • Journaling Pens - various colors
  • Adhesive
  • Scissors
  • Coloring Medium (water-color pencils recommended)
  • Water brush
  • Travel Stamps
  • Tiny ink pads
  • The full kit we'll be sending you (bag, journal, embellishments, etc)
  • Any other embellishments you wish to add.
