If you'd like to choose your routing schedule, you can choose to book "Choice Air". These rates are subject to change until paid in full. Transfers are not included in the price but can be added. In most cases, flights are non-refundable and no changes can be made once booked. Flights are customizable and you can choose to book Coach, First Class or Business Class.

You will need your reservation number, Ship name (Explorer of the Seas) and sailing date (14JUN2020) in order to book. Full payment is due at the time of booking. Come into Rome 2 days prior. Package includes 2-nights lodging, one tour and breakfast buffet daily. Base rate starts at $699 pp with options to upgrade your hotel room for $50-100 more per person. Final details about hotel upgrades will be available by October 2019. Airfare and transfers are additional.

  • Depart USA on June 11 and arrive in Rome June 12. Stay in hotel the evenings of June 12 & 13. Group transportation to the cruise ship on June 14 will be arranged for an additional fee.
  • June 13's tour: Your morning guided sightseeing, with headset, is rich in religious and ancient history. Visit the VATICAN MUSEUMS to see amazing treasures. In the SISTINE CHAPEL, where the Conclave is held to elect new popes, view Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment and his famous ceiling paintings. Also on the agenda today, enter monumental ST. PETER’S SQUARE and BASILICA, built in 313 AD above St. Peter the Apostle’s tomb and home to Michelangelo’s masterpiece Renaissance sculpture, the Pietà. Book the pre-cruise hotel & transfers through Royal Caribbean.

Call Cruise & Crop for current rates on 1, 2 or 3-night pre-hotel options through Royal Caribbean. These rates would also include your transfer to the pier (but you’d have to get your own transfer from the airport to the hotel the night before). Hotel stays must be booked before March 6, 2020. After this deadline, hotel packages may not be available.

As of 7/12/19, the following hotel was being offered:

  • Hotel Cicerone $250.47 pp, Double occupancy, 1 night.

You’d also need to purchase a one-way transfer from the pier to the airport for after the cruise.  This is $71.95 pp.

Hotel rates vary based on how many people are in the room. Rates are subject to change. {Post Cruise packages are also available}

Book Royal Caribbean Transfers

If you book your own flights, flights must arrive at the Rome airport no later than 1:30 p.m. on 6/14/20 and leave Rome after 10:50 a.m. on 6/21/20.  Royal Caribbean's round-trip transfers can be purchased for $143.90 pp if you need same day transfers.

If you come in early and stay near the airport, you can return to the airport on 6/14/20 and still get a RCL transfer. Airport Pick-up/Drop-off is availble. Call for details.

City Center Pick-up/Drop-off is available. Taxi to the Crowne Plaza on 6/14/20 and catch a transfer to the ship for $71.95 pp. After the cruise, on 6/21/20, you can take the ship's transfer into the city. You'll be dropped off at Rome Ostiense Station for $71.95 pp. Call Cruise & Crop to book these transfers.

The deadline to book transfers in advance is 5/29/20.

6/16/20, Santorini, Greece, 1:30 p.m.
"Island of Santorini & Oia Village" {Shore Excursion Code:SOA8}

5.5 Hours, $119 per adult, $69 per child

Embrace the glorious island charms of Santorini on a 5.5-hour adventure that brings you from the idyllic village of Oia to a local winery for tastings, plus enjoy free time to shop and stroll around the hilltop capital of Fira. Admire breathtaking views of the ancient volcanic caldera while driving around postcard-perfect Santorini Bay to the quaint hamlet of Oia. Perched high above the sea, this white-washed Cyclades enclave is full of narrow pathways that wind around a maze of art galleries, cafes, and artisan shops. Uncover historic mysteries as you comb the ruins of three ancient Greek cities, including the Great Theater of Ephesus, Miletus' Faustina baths, and Didyma's Temple of Apollo — plus savor a Turkish meal. This 7.5-hour adventure begins with a guided walking tour of the open-air museum of Ephesus. Walk under the Magnesian Gate into the UNESCO World Heritage Site, viewing what remains of its Great Theater and the stately Library of Celsus. Prepare to take your senses on a journey all their own, as you experience the sights, sounds, aromas and flavors of Mykonos Town. Your adventure starts out on foot alongside a friendly and informative guide through narrow, cobblestone streets of this picturesque Cycladic village. As you pass whitewashed houses, the historic Panagia Paraportiani church complex and stunning Cycladic architecture along bougainvillea-lined pathways, you’ll learn about the rich heritage behind the area.   • Lighted alarm clock (or you can use the Wake-up call system)
  • Royal Caribbean allows you to bring 2 bottles of wine (750 mL) per stateroom onboard on embarkation day; subject to corkage fees. Guests are allowed to bring on 12 standard (17 oz) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom of non-alcoholic beverages. These must be CARRIED on! If you put them in your checked luggage, they will be confiscated. No beer or hard liquor may be brought onboard for consumption.

For the Open Cropping times, please bring your own paper/photos/accessories/tools that you'll need to complete your own cards/pages.  Please also bring your own supply of wet-wipes to clean your hands and your workspace. 

**Be sure to pack all sharp objects in your CHECKED Luggage, all together in a plastic bag**
