FAQs:
When does the Escape officially start and end? The Crop room will open at 12;00 p.m. on Friday, January 21 and close at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25. Check-in at the hotel is at 4:00 p.m. Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. on your selected day of departure. You can store your luggage in the crop room if needed (before check-in and after check-out).
Can I book the Escape without a hotel stay? No. In order to participate in the this Escape, all guests must also book their hotel stays at the Hard Rock Cancun. All hotel booking must go through Cruise & Crop. If you book direct or use another agent, you will not be eligible to participate in this Escape.
How do I get to Cancun, Mexico? Your closest airport is Cancun International (CUN). Starting at 9 months prior, Cruise & Crop can assist you in booking flights and airport transfers. You can also book these items on your own. Hotel address: Blvd. Kukulcan (Km 14.5), Zona Hotelera, Cancun, Quintana Roo 77550. Transfers must be scheduled at least one week in advance and costs can vary.
Is there parking at the resort? Yes. If you elect to rent a car, there is free parking at the resort.
Can you match up roommates? We encourage you to bring along a friend. Non-crafters are welcome. If you want to share the cost of a hotel room, we'd be happy to help you pair up with another crafter (if available). Please post about roommate request via our Facebook Group.
Can I bring additional drinks/snacks? Sure! But remember - your food and drinks are all included, all day.
When is the last day to register? When all seats in the Escape are full. Once filled, we will start a waiting list.
Will there be a store at the crop? Yes. Lickety Split Scrapbooks will have some extra kits available.
Are there outlets available in the crop room? Outlets are very limited and only available around the perimeter of the room. Please consider bringing battery operated lights. Die cutting machines will likely have to be located somewhere other than on your crop table. Bring power strips/cords.

A max of 2 crafters are permitted in each room. If traveling with 3 or 4, a second room will be required.
Children under 12 years old sharing the room with their parents are free (maximum 2 children).
Juniors between 13 & 17 years old sharing a room with their parents are permitted at $88 per child, per night.
Non-crafting 3rd & 4th Guests are permitted at $88 per person, per night in the Double rooms. Max of 3 adults per room.
Nightly rates may vary if you decide to come in January 17 or sooner, or stay after January 28, 2028.
Crafters add $350 for the Participant Fee. Non-crafting roommates do not have to pay this fee. In order to participate in this conference, you MUST book through Cruise & Crop. If you book direct or with another agent, you are not eligible to be part of the Lickety Split Scrapbooks land-retreat. A $50 non-refundable participant fee deposit is due at the time of booking. This means the balance of your participant fee ($300) will be due with your final payment.
A credit card will be collected to secure your hotel reservation and processed with a $700/room Non-refundable deposit. Roommates are welcome to pay $350 each.

Rates are good through July 31, 2026 (or while inventory lasts). After this date, rates are subject to change. Resort & Crafter participation fee balance is due by 11/1/27.

There will be group Welcome & Farewell dinners planned. Stay tuned for Dates, Times & Locations. Other meals are included but will be on your own. You are encouraged to make reservations upon arriving at the resort for the different dining venues.
Passports US Citizens
Passports are REQUIRED for all guests. If you do not have one or yours is expired, please visit travel.state.gov for information on how to apply/renew. Your passport should be valid 6 months after the conclusion of your trip.

Cancellation Policy
If one or more persons cancel, the rate(s) for remaining occupants may increase. Should this booking be canceled after initial deposit, said cancellation is subject to an administrative fee of $35 per person. In addition, you are subject to the resort's cancellation fees as outlined on their website.

The initial $700/room deposit is non-refundable. The full hotel charge is non-refundable after the group's final payment date.
