What to Expect
Meet & Greet
- Get into your Cabins, Explore the Ship and then join us in the Conference Room for the Meet & Greet at 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Do Not Bring Supplies to the Meet & Greet, this will be an opportunity to meet all the croppers, be wowed by the projects we are going to create, get a feel for your crop space, receive your project packets, discuss classes and ask questions.
Crop Room Move In
- This is the time to bring your Basic Supply Kit and any swaps you have created, space is limited, so please plan accordingly. There are two large projects being provided for you, and the opportunity to get “more creative” with those projects if you have time. For those of you who plan to crop in lieu of going to port/excursions, please leave any additional personal projects you bring in your cabin and bring them to the crop room when you have time to work on them. Again, space is very limited.
Cookies & Coffee Service
- Our First Cookies & Coffee Service will be at 8:30 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Feel free to exchange artist trading cards or any handmade craft. This is not a requirement, but you may do so if you wish to participate. We are currently hosting 15 croppers; this number may change.
Crop Room Hours
- The Crop Room (Conference Room) will be officially open after the Meet & Greet, bring your supplies, get set up and will remain open 24/7 for your crafting pleasure.
Crop Room Information
- The Crop Room (Conference Room) will be open 24/7 starting at 9pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024 (After Move In – See Schedule); however, there will not be a designated person in the room at all times, do not leave valuables in the Crop Room.
- Conference Room tables are 6 feet wide. 2 persons per table.
- Space is LIMITED. Bring what is on the supply list.
- If you are cold natured, bring a sweater.
- If you are hot natured, wear short sleeves.
- Crop Room CLOSES at 5:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024. No exceptions, please plan accordingly.
Classes
- Classes will be offered as scheduled and will start on time. Unfortunately, due to our busy schedule, make up classes are not being offered.
- Class Kits are precut and somewhat self-explanatory; however, “being creative” is hard to teach from a picture. Your participation in class will pay off!
- Samples will be available 24/7 in the Crop Room at a designated location. You make take pictures of the samples; however, please do not remove them from their designated location.
- Die Cuts, Die Cutting Machine, Stamps and Blocks will be used during the class times, this is being provided for the class times only as the items are expensive and will not be left in the Crop Room 24/7.
- Please bring the best version of yourself to class!
Hostesses
- Sherri Owens, owner of Scrapbooking Life, will be teaching all classes and be present in the crop room mainly on the “At Sea Days”. This will be a fun filled busy week and we want everyone to have a great time!
- Tammy Brantley will assist during classes.
