Choice Air:
If you'd like to choose your routing schedule, you can choose to book "Choice Air". These rates are subject to change until paid in full. Transfers are not included in the price but can be added. In most cases, flights are non-refundable and no changes can be made once booked. Flights are customizable and you can choose to book Coach, First Class or Business Class.

To book your own Choice Air reservation, go to www.ChoiceAir.com Check rates as often as you'd like and then when you are ready...go ahead and book. You will need your reservation number, Ship name (Liberty of the Seas) and sailing date (11OCT2020) in order to book. Full payment is due at the time of booking. Once booked, Cruise & Crop will receive notification and we'll send you an updated confirmation.

Book the pre-cruise hotel & transfers through Royal Caribbean.

Call Cruise & Crop for current rates on 1, 2 or 3-night pre-hotel options through Royal Caribbean. These rates would also include your transfer to the pier (but you’d have to get your own transfer from the airport to the hotel the night before). Hotel stays must be booked before July 2, 2020. After this deadline, hotel packages may not be available.

As of 1/2020, Royal Caribbean had the following hotels available:

  • Holiday Inn Galveston $127.01 pp
  • Indigo Houston Galleria $113.40 pp
  • Houston Airport Marriott $115.96 pp

You’d also need to purchase a one-way transfer from the pier to the airport for after the cruise.  This is $31.95 (HOU) - 39.95 (IAH) pp.

Hotel rates vary based on how many people are in the room. Rates are subject to change. {Post Cruise packages are also available}

Book Royal Caribbean Transfers

Transfers from HOU: $31.95 each way, $63.90 round-trip
Transfers from IAH: $39.95 each way, $79.90 round-trip

If you book your own flights, flights must arrive at the HOU airport no later than 12:00 p.m. on 10/11/20 and leave no earlier than 1:30 p.m. on 10/18/20.  Round-trip transfers can be purchased for $63.90 pp.

Flights must arrive at the IAH airport no later than 11:00 a.m. on 10/11/20 and leave no earlier than 2:00 p.m. on 10/18/20. Round-trip transfers can be purchased for $79.90 pp.

NOTE:  If you book your own air & hotel (to arrive on 10/10/20) you can go back to the airport on 10/11/20 and take Royal Caribbean's transfers to the pier. Call Cruise & Crop for details and to pre-book this transfer. Or you are welcome to book your own private transfer. Houston Hobby airport is approx. 45 minutes from the pier. Parking Fees: $85 for vehicles up to 20 feet in length
The total fee for the time the vehicle will be parked is due on entry. They accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Traveler’s Checks issued in U.S. dollars. Pre-pay and save $5 on parking. Visit this link to reserve your parking spot.

SHORE EXCURSIONS
Shore excursions are available to be booked. You can go to Royal Caribbean's Website and click "Before you Board". Excursions can be reserved online up to 4 days before your sail date. Crafting activities will not interfere with your days in port - so feel free to go and explore at each stop.

class schedule
A schedule of events will be provided closer to sailing. The schedule is subject to change. All classes will take place on deck 2, forward. Be sure to use the forward stairs/elevator to access the Conference Center.

Your cruise will be full of classes from your talented teachers.  Please do not book other activities on your days at sea as you will miss the classes.  You will also have a class the morning of 10/14/20 (Grand Cayman). The Crop room will not necessarily be manned at all times by your cruise hosts.  There will not be any open crop time on this sailing and crafters are not permitted to leave their supplies in the conference room.

The crafters will be divided into two groups.  Please be sure to let us know if you're cruising with others not booked in your cabin.  We will do our best to make sure you are in the same group.  E-mail these requests to info@cruiseandcrop.com

Some classes will end at 5:30 p.m.  If you have selected early dining, if possible, you'll want to come to class dressed for dinner (or practice your quick-change talent).

Cruise & Crop is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Door Decorating Contest while onboard the Liberty of the Seas.

The contest is optional but there will be a prize to the winning cabin.  You can cover the entire door or just add smaller elements.  The door will be judged for creativity and originality.

Be sure to only use adhesives that will not damage the door!!  Masking tape is recommended.  Magnets also work.

On October 11, 12 & 13 you'll have the chance to enter your cabin # into the contest (look for the basket/container in the crop room).  We will make our rounds on the 14th & 15th.  The winning cabin will be announced in the crop room on October 16th.

THEME:  Mermitized Animals - turn your favorite animal into a mermaid.  Your mermaid can live in the sea or anywhere you choose.

There will be one prize per winning cabin.  If you are sharing your cabin with other crafters, it will be up to you how to divide the prize.

    • Option #1: *RECOMMENDED* Passport (valid at least 6 months after you return) & a drivers license
    • Option #2: A CERTIFIED birth certificate with a raised seal + a government issued photo ID such as a drivers license {plus, a bridging document if the name on your drivers license and birth certificate do not match - such as a marriage license}
    • Non US Citizens are required to have a passport.
  • e-Docs & Set Sail Pass, luggage tags, Transfer/Hotel Vouchers
  • Shore Excursion Tickets (if you booked your excursions through Dream Vacations/Shore Excursions Group)
  • Casual clothes for during the day
  • 2 Semi-Formal, 2 Smart Casual & 3 Casual outfits for dinner
  • A light jacket in case the crop room is chilly
  • Work-out clothes
  • Bathing suit, cover up & sunscreen

  • Lighted alarm clock (or you can use the Wake-up call system)
  • Royal Caribbean allows you to bring 2 bottles of wine (750 mL) per stateroom onboard on embarkation day; subject to corkage fees. Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Non-alcoholic beverages may not exceed 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom. Milk and distilled water brought on for infant, medical, or dietary use are permitted.  These must be CARRIED on! If you put them in your checked luggage, your suitcases will be held in security.

Conference space will be dedicated 100% to classes. There will not be open crop. A final packing list will be provided about two months prior to the cruise.

**Be sure to pack all sharp objects in your CHECKED Luggage, all together in a plastic bag**

The following supplies are suggested for your classes.

  • Scissors (blades must be less than 4 inches long)
  • 12" Personal Trimmer
  • Tons of your favorite adhesives - various types - wet & dry (with refills)
  • Pop dots
  • MISTI original size (or similar)
  • Wet-wipes to clean your hands and table
  • Optional: Battery powered crafting light Corded lights are not permitted.

There will not be a store on-board so be sure to bring enough adhesives.
