Choice Air:
If you'd like to choose your routing schedule, you can choose to book "Choice Air". These rates are subject to change until paid in full. Transfers are not included in the price but can be added. In most cases, flights are non-refundable and no changes can be made once booked. Flights are customizable and you can choose to book Coach, First Class or Business Class.

To book your own Choice Air reservation, go to www.ChoiceAir.com Check rates as often as you'd like and then when you are ready...go ahead and book. You will need your reservation number, Ship name (Anthem of the Seas) and sailing date (24OCT2019) in order to book. Full payment is due at the time of booking. Once booked, Cruise & Crop will receive notification and we'll send you an updated confirmation.

Book the pre-cruise hotel & transfers through Royal Caribbean.

Call Cruise & Crop for current rates on 1, 2 or 3-night pre-hotel options through Royal Caribbean. These rates would also include your transfer to the pier (but you’d have to get your own transfer from the airport to the hotel the night before). Hotel stays must be booked before July 16, 2019. After this deadline, hotel packages may not be available.

As of 1/24/19 the following hotels were being offered through Royal Caribbean for a 1-night Pre-cruise stay:

  • NEWARK: Renaissance EWR Airport $132.32 pp
  • NEWARK: Doubletree by Hilton EWR Airport $142.55 pp
  • NEW YORK: Marriott Marquis $393.58 pp
  • NEW YORK: Parker NY Hotel $321.85 pp

You’d also need to purchase a one-way transfer from the pier to the (EWR) airport for after the cruise.  This is $27.95 pp.

Hotel rates vary based on how many people are in the room. Rates are subject to change. {Post Cruise packages are also available}

Book Royal Caribbean Transfers

If you book your own flights, flights must arrive at the Newark airport no later than 12:00 p.m. on 10/24/19 and leave no earlier than 1:00 p.m. on 11/2/19.  Round-trip transfers can be purchased for $59.90 pp.

Manhattan Pick-up & Drop-off
Royal Caribbean offers a transfer to/from Manhattan before and after the cruise. On 10/24/19 the bus leaves the Schwartz Luggage Storage at 11:00 a.m. You need to arrive no later than 10:45 a.m. After the cruise on 11/2/19, you'd arrive back at the Schwartz Luggage Storage around Noon. The cost for this transfer is $44.95 pp each way. Call Cruise & Crop to add this transfer.

NOTE:  You CANNOT book your own air & hotel (to arrive on 10/24/19) and still purchase Royal Caribbean transfers.  If you do everything on your own, you’ll have to find your own transportation to the pier.  The Newark airport is approx. 20 minutes from the pier. Taxis serve the cruise terminal during ship calls and public transportation is easily accessible. A taxi ride is about $18 plus tolls/tip. Click here for Ground Transportation information. A safe and secure parking facility is conveniently located adjacent to the cruise terminal. Parking fees are $22 per day including all taxis. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

Shore excursions are available to be booked. You can go to Royal Caribbean's Website and click "Before you Board". Excursions can be reserved online up to 4 days before your sail date. Crafting activities will not interfere with your days in port - so feel free to go and explore at each stop.

Class Schedule
The schedule is subject to change. All classes/crops will take place on deck 13, aft. You will walk down a hallway of cabins before you find the conference center. The conference center has breathtaking views off the back of the ship.

October 24th Meet and Greet 4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Come and Go. Guests can pick their table and drop off their crafting supplies.

October 25th - Sea Day #1 {Teachers please be in conference space no later than 8:45. a.m.}

  • Swap Bag Challenge 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
  • Class with Lori Sanford Souter
    • First session 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
    • Lunch from 12:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.
    • Second session 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m..

October 26th - 29th - Port Day - Free time for everyone. No planned activities.

October 30th - Sea Day #2

  • Class with Tracy Pounds & Marie Bolin Whitworth from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Break for lunch 12:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m..
  • 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Craft at your leisure and finish your project.

October 31st - Port Day - Free time. Have fun, no planned activities.

November 1st - Sea Day #3

  • Make and takes with Valerie Jackson Stacy & Tracy Pounds.
  • 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m. Come and go at your leisure.
  • Group photo at 4:15, meet in conference room.
Swaps (encouraged but not required) -
  1. Goodie bags with little embellishments for fall. (Brad's, buttons, ribbon, die cuts). Anything fall related. Not to exceed the size of an Altoid can or deck of cards. We are sure you all have treasures in your personal stash.
  2. 2 packages of fall napkins (50 napkins total of one design).
  3. 1 fat quarter of fabric. Fall themed. (Most fabric stores already have these cut. They will be folded in squares).

  • Proof of Citizenship
    • Option #1: *RECOMMENDED* Passport (valid at least 6 months after you return) & a drivers license
    • Option #2: A CERTIFIED birth certificate with a raised seal + a government issued photo ID such as a drivers license {plus, a bridging document if the name on your drivers license and birth certificate do not match - such as a marriage license}
    • Non US Citizens are required to have a passport.
  • e-Docs & Set Sail Pass, luggage tags, Transfer/Hotel Vouchers
  • Shore Excursion Tickets (if you booked your excursions through Dream Vacations/Shore Excursions Group)
  • Casual clothes for during the day - dress in layers as the temperatures can change through out the day and will vary from port to port.
  • 2 Semi-Formal, 2 Smart Casual & 5 Casual outfits for dinner
  • A light jacket in case the crop room is chilly
  • Work-out clothes
  • Bathing suit, cover up & sunscreen
  • Camera & extra batteries
  • Pajamas
  • Toiletries (hair-dryer, soap and shampoo are provided)
  • Tennis shoes & flip-flops
  • Lighted alarm clock (or you can use the Wake-up call system)
  • Power strip (so you have extra outlets in your room)
  • Royal Caribbean allows you to bring 2 bottles of wine (750 mL) per stateroom onboard on embarkation day; subject to corkage fees. Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Non-alcoholic beverages may not exceed 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom. Milk and distilled water brought on for infant, medical, or dietary use are permitted.  These must be CARRIED on! If you put them in your checked luggage, they will be confiscated.

For the Open Cropping times, please bring your own paper/photos/accessories/tools that you'll need to complete your own cards/pages.  Please also bring your own supply of wet-wipes to clean your hands and your workspace. 

**Be sure to pack all sharp objects in your CHECKED Luggage, all together in a plastic bag**

  • Scissors (blades must be less than 4 inches long)
  • Bone Folder
  • Corner Rounder
  • 1/8" Hand Held Circle Punch
  • Stylus
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Assorted sewing needles
  • Tons of your favorite adhesives - various types - wet & dry
    • Liquid adhesive (Tombo/Scotch Tacky Glue is preferred)
    • Small bottle of mod podge, matte finish
    • Tape runner or skor tape
  • Wet-wipes to clean your hands and table
  • Optional: Battery powered crafting light

Swaps -
